JOB OPENING Title: Deputy Portfolio Manager Location: Hockenheim, Germany Start Date: May 2025 Job Type : Full Time JOB OVERVIEW The Deputy Portfolio Manager is a key member Team, under direct supervision of the Portfolio Manager, responsible for the strategic overall management and performance of a portfolio of project and contracts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client satisfaction QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management Experience in Project Management or a related field.
Proven experience in government contracts, defense industry or a similar role.
Proven experience in portfolio or project management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Proficiency in project management software.
Strong client relationship management skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Portfolio Management of EUCOM Projects: Responsible for the management, operation and delivery of Austability GmbH’s contract, projects at multiple locations in Germany, which are military bases or facilities, for the US Armed Forces or Contractors under the German-US, Bundeswehr and NATO.
Overseas and manages the planning, delivery and evaluation of Austability and controlled entities' programs, activities and commitments throughout the area.
Implement organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures.
Coordinate with different stakeholders to ensure project success.
Manage and provide day-to-day support for various technical and administrative activities.
Build and maintain client relationships.
Oversee payables, direct the processing of invoices and payments, and manage expense and budget reports of the projects.
Assist with the management of tasks related to project completion.
