YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The expected tasks of the Enterprise Architect (f/m/d) SAP MaxAttention Transformation Hub include:
1. Delivering relevant Enterprise Architecture guidance to the SAP front-office teams and SAP customers directly, under the umbrella of the SAP MaxAttention services contract
2. Support the front-office architects and account teams in their architecture related work with the customer, as a combination of process guidance and back-office like responsibility
3. Collaborate with SAP Transformation Hub counterparts globally, to ensure continuity throughout the journey of defining a customer IT strategy and providing guidance in conceptual and architectural questions typical for an IT transformation
4. Delivery of strategy services and architecture point-of-view services
5. Guide large enterprises through a business or IT transformation by identifying drivers for change, mapping those drivers to enablers in terms of application components or non-functional qualities and deriving an industry and customer-specific target architecture
6. Build and maintain a central knowledge hub, enabling a cross customer / cross industry and cross regional perspective to architecture-related topics
7. Refine and evolve the service methodology which includes documentation and collection of learnings from the deliveries for re-use by the service development groups, to further improve the service concepts and service content
8. Maintain a strong network within SAP Customer Services & Delivery as well as SAP Product Engineering; building up strategic working relationship across multiple locations
9. Up to 30% travel required to various client sites globally
YOUR PROFILE
This role requiring conceptual skills and the ability to turn one’s own learning into learning experience for others, be they colleagues or customers:
10. 15+ years of experience in working on SAP based architectures & general IT strategies
11. 10+ years of experience in working with SAP customers in the strategic segment
12. Experience in supporting one customer for a longer period of time (e.g. as enterprise architect)
13. Masters degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Science
14. Experience with at least one of the following Line of Business (LoB): Finance, Sales, Procurement or Manufacturing and experience in one of the following industry clusters Consumer Industries, High Tech, ENR
15. Familiarity with one or multiple Enterprise Architecture domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology)
16. Experience with turning customer requirements into requirements for an application architecture
17. Structuring and documenting methodologies and best practices (whitepapers, presentations)
18. SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA product knowledge and hands-on experience
19. SAP-based architectures & general IT technology strategies
20. Working on Enterprise Architecture artifacts (e.g. Business capability modeling as part of business architecture or application landscape design as part of application architecture)
21. Architecting, Designing and Implementing End-to-End SAP S/4HANA implementation project using latest intelligent technologies in a customer landscape
22. Strong network within SAP Services & Delivery as well as Product Engineering
23. An Enterprise Architecture certification such as TOGAF would be an advantage
24. Solid English skills required and German skills are a strong plus

The regional SAP Transformation Hub teams in North America, Germany and India closely collaborate on these topics:
25. Support the front-office architects and account teams in their architecture-related work with the customer, as a combination of process guidance and back-office like responsibility
26. Close collaboration with SAP Transformation Hub counterparts ensures continuity throughout the journey of defining a customer IT strategy and providing guidance in conceptual and architectural questions typical for an IT transformation
27. Active delivery of strategy services service and architecture Pont of Views together with the front-office architect role
28. Central knowledge hub enabling a cross customer / cross industry and cross regional perspective to architecture-related topics
