As our company grows, we’re seeking an IT Systems Engineer – IT Operations (m/f/d) to help us maintain and develop our internal IT infrastructure. In this hands-on role, you'll work across core areas such as server and network operations, security, user management, and endpoint provisioning. You will play a key part in ensuring that our systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently, while supporting our teams and contributing to critical IT projects. Ready to make an impact? You’ll get to take ownership of: Infrastructure Management Operate, maintain, and enhance essential IT infrastructure (servers, networks, backup systems) Administer on-premise and cloud-based data centre environments Manage virtualisation using VMware Security & Identity Management Support IT security measures including firewall configurations, monitoring, and incident response Administer user accounts, group policies, and access rights Manage identity infrastructure using Entra ID / Active Directory Support & Troubleshooting Provide first and second level support for internal users Analyse systems and handle incidents Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues Workplace & Endpoint Management Coordinate hardware procurement and workstation setup Manage endpoints using a Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platform Cross-functional Collaboration Contribute to internal IT projects and continuous improvement efforts Document processes, configurations, and solutions We’d love to meet someone with: Education & Experience A degree in IT or a completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (or comparable qualification) Experience managing IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and firewalls Technical Skills Solid knowledge of Microsoft environments (Active Directory / Entra ID, Microsoft 365) Experience with VMware virtualisation Basic understanding of UEM systems Linux knowledge is a plus Personal Skills An autonomous, structured, and solution-oriented working style A strong team player with clear communication style Comfortable working with stakeholders from different departments Proficient in both written and spoken German and English You can look forward to: State-of-the-art, spacious offices with a view of Lake Starnberg in Tutzing Subsidised lunches in our in-house restaurant A cycling package through our partnership with JobRad, plus additional cash incentives if you commute regularly by bike Opportunity to work flexibly from home Team get-togethers every Thursday with refreshments A Company Pension Plan (bAV) 30 vacation days a year Ready to explore this opportunity?
