Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all Life Sciences construction projects across Continental Europe
* Manage and support a team of Project Directors, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with business objectives
* Set project delivery standards and monitor execution to ensure safety, quality, programme, and budget targets are met or exceeded
* Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise resource allocation, risk management, and project efficiency
* Engage with clients at a senior level to understand their needs, provide updates, resolve issues, and build long-term partnerships
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, commercial, and HSE to ensure project integration and delivery excellence
* Support the preparation and negotiation of major tenders and proposals within the Life Sciences sector
* Monitor project KPIs and financial performance, taking corrective actions where necessary to maintain commercial targets
* Ensure compliance with Life Sciences industry regulations, standards, and best practices throughout all phases of project execution
* Represent the Life Sciences unit in internal leadership meetings, contributing to wider business strategy and planning
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the project delivery team
* Identify and support the pursuit of new business opportunities across the region to grow market presence and project pipeline
* Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for Life Sciences facility construction across internal and client-facing forums
Qualification
* Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
* Extensive senior-level experience delivering complex construction projects within the Life Sciences sector
* Deep understanding of Life Sciences facility design, construction requirements, and regulatory environments
* Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiations
* Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills
* Experience in business development or strategic growth planning is an advantage
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are beneficial
* Willingness to travel regularly across Continental Europe
