Logistics Manager Role
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Manager to oversee the management of logistics operations and support critical projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities
* Manage inbound flows of goods from external contractors to warehouses, ensuring alignment with capacity and inventory levels.
* Address quality deviations in transport and warehousing by managing corrective actions and coordinating with stakeholders.
* Supervise third-party logistics providers in inventory management, optimizing stock allocation, and managing blocked or expired stock.
* Act as the primary contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers regarding logistics operational requirements for warehousing and transportation.
* Perform data management and stock reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and alignment between systems.
* Coordinate and optimize the destruction process in collaboration with third-party logistics providers and internal teams.
Requirements
* A high-school diploma with vocational training or a degree in economics, business administration, or logistics.
* At least 3 years of experience in warehousing and transportation in an administrative capacity, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
* Proficiency in enterprise resource planning software and Microsoft Office; experience in IT testing and validation or knowledge of good distribution practices is a plus.
* Highly organized, manage complex workflows effectively, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills and can resolve problems in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
* Fluent in English and German, enabling efficient communication in an international environment.
