Job purpose
The purpose of the role is to Manage the controlling and reporting processes for the growing and emerging ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) reporting area with Focus on the E-pillar: Carbon accounting and Decarbonization as well as support other key activities like EU Taxonomy reporting or Social and Governance Reporting. The role requires a high level of data numeracy and the ability to generate useful and meaningful reports that support ESG decision making at a Global Level.
Principal accountabilities
* ESG Actual Reporting
- Monitor monthly emission reporting and decarbonization on organizational level
- Sustainability Data Quality assurance incl. regional data quality checks
- Prepare standard internal reporting incl. ESG deck and EMS input
- Prepare ad hoc analysis e.g. for Business Performance Reviews (BPM) and other internal requests
- Lead the full development and implementation of improvements to increase efficiency of ESG Reporting processes without compromising quality.
* Coordinate and monitor annual ESG audit activities on divisional level, Prepare and present at audit meetings, and accountable for delivery of improvements as identified from global related topics
* Responsible for adherence to ESG controls according to the implemented Control framework
* ESG Forecasting / Planning
- Provide monthly Forecast to relevant stakeholders
- Align and prepare ESG Planning for mid-term planning according to corporate requirements
* Prepare and Update Risk Reporting for ESG related topics
* Project Support, manage required projects and system implementations as needed
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience
* Ability to work under time pressure, short deadlines, high quality standards and various tasks at the same time
* Positive can-do mentality, always looking for improvements
* Persistent and pragmatic style of working
* Knowledgeable about data analytics and data visualization (Excel knowledge is a must, Visualization tools is preferred)
* Ability to work independently but still form part of the team and support
* Good presentation and communication skills
* Multicultural mind to work in a global environment
* Good understanding of stakeholder management and project management
* University degree in Applied Economics/Finance/ Engineering or equivalent through experience
* Minimum of 5-7 years total experience across Finance and/or Sustainability fields
