Laboratory technician - acrylic adhesives (m/f/d)

As a Laboratory Technician in our Acrylics Lab, you will be an integral part of the adhesive development team, supporting the formulation and testing of acrylic-based adhesive systems from laboratory scale through to pilot plant trials. In this hands-on role, you will independently carry out experiments, generate reliable data, and contribute to the smooth execution of development projects.

Working closely with scientists, engineers, and external partners, you will help translate formulation ideas into robust and testable adhesive solutions. Your work will directly support the development of high-performance and more sustainable acrylic adhesives for a wide range of applications.

Your tasks include:

• Prepare, execute, and monitor laboratory experiments and pilot plant trials
• Support formulation and testing of acrylic-based adhesive systems and related materials
• Analyze samples with regard to adhesive performance and polymer characteristics
• Accurately document test results and support data evaluation
• Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for project discussions
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
• Ensure high standards of laboratory safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Support internal teams as well as external partners with testing activities

• Completed vocational training (e.g. Chemical Laboratory Technician, CTA, or similar qualification)
• Initial professional experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage
• Strong hands-on laboratory skills and attention to detail
• Structured, reliable, and independent way of working
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Interest in acrylic polymers, adhesives, and applied laboratory work
• Good German and intermediate English language skills
