Senior Chemical Risk Assessor
Our laboratory is seeking a senior chemical risk assessor to join our team in a full-time position with a contract of fixed-term duration (2 years).
The selected candidate will be involved in the European Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC program), which aims to develop next-generation chemical risk assessment to protect human health and the environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the project on derivation of health-based indoor air guideline values within the PARC program;
* Derivation of health-based indoor guideline values for indoor air pollutants;
* Derivation of health-based human biomonitoring (HBM) guidance values based on toxicological and/or epidemiological data;
* Conducting human health risk assessments based human biomonitoring data and indoor exposure data;
* Providing support to the service in setting up and conducting national exposure monitoring surveys;
The ideal candidate should have a Sc., PhD or equivalent in toxicology, chemistry, bioengineering, veterinarian or pharmacy, as well as a proven track record in human health risk assessment in the regulatory context. Proficiency in English language (oral and written) is also required.
