Job Description
Corporate Actions Processing is a global department based in three different regions Germany (Berlin, Düsseldorf), Switzerland (Zurich, Bioggio) and Singapore, responsible for managing Corporate Actions business/processes (announcements, instructions and payments).
* Monitor, plan and execute the daily activities for corporate actions events, to be delivered in accordance with the Service Level Agreements agreed with our Clients
* Monitoring corporate actions including any instruction deadlines
* Preparing and releasing instructions to Custodians
* Booking of voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, taking into account withholding tax and foreign withholding tax
* Managing reconciliation for differences arising from corporate actions (cash and securities)
* Inquiries from/to custodians and Clients
Qualifications
* First professional experience in the back office of a bank
* Flexibility and willingness to learn
* Good team player and positive attitude
* Ability to work independently in a very demanding, fast-paced and complex environment
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full professional fluency in German and very good English skills
I t would be a real bonus if you have
* Experience in the area of corporate actions
* Knowledge of the Avaloq Core Banking System
* Proficiency in other languages
