Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) within your assigned region. This includes developing new business opportunities, securing orders, and preparing annual contracts.

* Develop new business opportunities and secure orders, including adjacent industries.
* Prepare and negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and forecasts in close alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Act as the primary contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints professionally.
* Monitor market trends and competitors, sharing insights to support strategic decisions.
* Maintain accurate customer data and documentation in CRM systems.
* Represent the company at trade shows and cross-functional meetings.
* Collaborate with cross-functional global teams (Finance, Operations, Marketing) to execute regional strategy.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Education & Experience: A Master's degree in Optics, Electronics, Physics, or a related Engineering discipline, combined with at least 5 years of proven success in technical sales within an industrial environment.
* Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of electronics, optical materials, and components, with the ability to translate technical specifications into customer solutions.
* Sales & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals with high-value customers.
* Communication & Interpersonal Competence: Fluency in English, with additional skills in German being a plus, and the ability to build trustful relationships across functions and cultures within a matrix organization.
* Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with market analysis, forecasting, and identifying new business opportunities; willingness to travel internationally as required.
