We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.
ENVIRONMENT
The role of Senior Business Analyst is embedded within a European financial institution operating in a highly regulated and complex landscape. The project environment demands compliance with stringent regulations while adapting to the dynamic needs of the business sector. The team setup relevant to this role consists of cross-functional stakeholders from various departments, including advisory services, IT, and governance, ensuring integrated collaboration for continuous improvement of the ASApp platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Business and Functional Requirements Preparation** Prepare clear, structured, and high-quality business and functional requirements as well as IT specifications for review and validation by relevant business and IT stakeholders. Ensure functional completeness and consistency across mandates. **Functional Enhancement of ASApp** Support the continuous evolution of the ASApp platform aligned with business priorities, operational requirements, and reporting standards. Enhance reporting and monitoring functionalities to improve efficiency, transparency, and data quality in advisory operations. **Functional Scope and Requirements Definition** Conduct detailed "as is" analysis of existing ASApp functionalities and identify functional gaps and optimization opportunities. Define business and functional requirements for new or enhanced features and conduct a review of the data model. **Functional Design and Documentation** Develop a comprehensive specification of data fields, use cases, business processes, and navigation logic. Document access rights, screen layouts, and buttons for optimal usability. **Reporting, Data Governance, and Analytics** Create detailed templates for new data fields in accordance with Data Governance Office best practices. Establish reporting requirements and prioritize reports for development or enhancement. **Testing and Quality Assurance** Define the test approach and strategy, preparing test plans based on approved requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing and resolve defects through effective tracking mechanisms. **Continuous Improvement and Enhancements** Identify potential IT and functional improvements in line with evolving business requirements and contribute to the ASApp product roadmap. **Training and Knowledge Transfer** Document implemented enhancements and prepare user and operational documentation. Deliver training sessions and targeted coaching for end users and key stakeholders.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 7 years of experience in the role.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Knowledge of project management methodologies, including both agile and waterfall. Proficiency in business requirements analysis, functional and technical analysis. Experience testing business software and familiarity with data warehouse and reporting solutions; knowledge of Business Objects is an advantage. Strong understanding of data governance principles and reporting requirements.
LANGUAGES
Proficient in English (mandatory). Proficiency in other languages will be considered an asset but is not mandatory. Why Cronos Group?
