What will you be doing?
Build and maintain web-facing applications from browser to database using technologies like React, Next.js, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL
Develop event-based systems with a strong focus on performance and scalability, using tools such as Kafka and Apache Flink
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define, design, and implement new features in a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
Write well-structured, efficient, and testable code in TypeScript and Java (JDK 21), contributing to a clean, maintainable codebase
Who are you?
You’re a product-minded engineer who enjoys building impactful digital solutions and understanding how users interact with them
Mid to senior-level experience in web application development as well as experiences with TypeScript, React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
You are comfortable with Java (JDK 21) or confident in learning new programming languages quickly, and you have a basic understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL
You know your way around event-based architectures and ideally have experience with Kafka, Apache Flink, or other message queuing/Streaming or ETL tools
You are familiar with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and ideally with Kubernetes and/or Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
You are keen to learn or familiar with domain driven design, seen as a plus
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Product-focused mindset and interest in user behavior
Curiosity about psychology or related fields is a plus
