Task Responsibilities:
* Operate conventional and CNC lathes and milling machines
* Create drawings and programs using Autodesk software
* Fabricate and repair tooling and aircraft parts
* Co-ordinate job and task priorities with other team members
* Maintain shop equipment/machines
* Report any unsafe condition or defects to his/her supervisor
* Improve and maintain experience on the machinery/ tools and technology available in the shop.
Essential Requirements For The Position:
* Excellent skills working on conventional lathes and milling machines
* A background as toolmaker ( fr.) mecanicien ajusteur, is an advantage
* Basic CNC milling / turning experience
* Strong knowledge of Autodesk software (Inventor, AutoCad, Fusion ...)
* Knowledge of HAAS programming is an advantage
Working Conditions:
The position holder is based in Luxembourg.
The position demands a regular presence in the shop on a two shift system from Monday to Friday.
Vacation and other absences are to be planned in advance, to ensure coverage in the shop.
The seniority of this position will be determined depending on the candidate's profile
