Your Profile:
* You hold a valid German medical license (Approbation) and have completed your specialist training in Radiation Oncology or Radiology with a focus on radiation therapy.
* Extensive expertise in radiation oncology, including modern radiotherapy techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, brachytherapy, and stereotactic treatments.
* Proven leadership skills with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating clinical workflows.
* Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and active participation in innovative patient care models.
* Involvement in clinical research, teaching, and mentoring junior physicians is highly valued.
* Strong organizational abilities to oversee quality management, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Empathy and excellent communication skills to foster a supportive environment for patients and staff alike.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate the radiation oncology department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical guidelines.
* Oversee treatment planning, including contouring and quality assurance, while implementing state-of-the-art radiotherapy technologies and protocols.
* Chair multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate closely with oncology, surgery, and diagnostic imaging departments.
* Drive digital transformation initiatives within the department, such as integrating treatment planning systems (TPS), PACS, and AI-supported workflows.
* Supervise and mentor assistant and specialist physicians, facilitating their professional development and continuous education.
* Participate in research projects, contribute to scientific publications, and represent the department at conferences.
* Manage department resources, staff scheduling, and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to hospital management.
