About the Role
We’re hiring a COO to oversee our day-to-day operations across multiple geographies and drive scalable, tech-enabled execution. As a key leadership team member, you'll manage core functions such as revenue operations, customer service, technology integration, and market expansion. You will report directly to the founders and collaborate with other executives to lead operational and commercial teams, optimize performance, and ensure operational excellence during our growth phase.
Key Focus Areas
* Operational Leadership: Oversee the full operational stack, focusing on efficiency and profitability.
* Team Leadership: Build and scale high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Technology & Automation: Collaborate with product and tech teams to embed AI and automation, enhancing scalability.
* Guest Experience: Maintain high-quality guest experiences through SOPs, feedback, and support systems.
* Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, costs, and vendor relationships to meet financial goals.
* Growth Execution: Develop operational frameworks for onboarding new properties and launching new markets.
About You
You are an experienced operations leader with a history of scaling startups, comfortable with technology, processes, and leading distributed teams with a focus on metrics and outcomes.
What You Bring
* 10+ years in operations leadership, preferably in high-growth tech or complex environments.
* Experience scaling startups from early stages to maturity, with hands-on systems and process expertise.
* Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
* Experience in hospitality, travel tech, property management, or multi-location service sectors.
* Proven leadership of large, distributed teams and external partners.
* Familiarity with tools like PMS, OTA integrations, or automation platforms.
* Fluency in German and based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
