As our client continues to expand across Europe, they are strengthening their commercial leadership to ensure consistent, high-quality execution in every market. They are seeking to appoint a commercially driven, execution-focused European Sales Director to support the UK Board in deploying and embedding the sales strategy across their European subsidiaries.
This role is ideally suited to a hands‑on commercial leader with a strong background in B2B industrial sales, who thrives in mid‑sized, fast‑moving organisations and understands how to introduce structure, discipline, and accountability at a local level. Working closely with subsidiary sales teams, you will drive consistency of process, establish a strong operating rhythm, and improve transparency of performance.
The position is highly data‑driven and operational in nature, requiring someone who leads from the front. You will play a critical role in delivering ambitious revenue targets while building a high‑performance, customer‑focused sales culture across the European business.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales performance and commercial execution across the European sales organisation
* Own and lead commercial pipeline and funnel management to ensure forecast accuracy and sustainable growth
* Inspire, develop and coach high‑performing sales teams across multiple European markets
* Champion a strong customer‑centric culture, ensuring solutions align with end‑user needs
* Lead and support direct end‑user sales activity, particularly within complex industrial environments
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, partners and internal stakeholders
* Drive effective cross‑functional collaboration with marketing, operations, finance and product teams
* Monitor, analyse and report on key sales KPIs, ensuring transparency and accountability
* Contribute to and support the development of global revenue growth strategies
Candidate Experience & Skills
* Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles within B2B industrial environments
* Strong understanding of industrial workplaces, including manufacturing, logistics and warehousing sectors
* Demonstrated experience leading direct end‑user sales teams across multiple geographies
* Clear evidence of driving revenue growth through disciplined pipeline management and team development
* Highly data‑driven, with strong capability in sales analytics, forecasting and CRM systems
* Charismatic and credible leadership style, able to influence, motivate and align diverse teams and stakeholders
* Experience selling capital projects or engineered solutions into industrial environments
* Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with local sales teams while constructively challenging performance
* Comfortable operating in a hands‑on, execution‑focused leadership role
* Willing and able to travel extensively across Europe
* Native in either Spanish, German or Italian, with fluency in English (essential)
