Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team. As a trusted partner, we strive to improve the health of people worldwide through our generics, consumer health products, and specialty pharmaceuticals.
This role involves identifying, projecting, and assessing historical and future financial impacts while mastering the complexity of a global organization and linking to group financials.
The ideal candidate will oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and outlook process for a specific area and ensure alignment with corporate standards. Additionally, they will lead profitability analysis, derive actionable insights, and drive measures to improve costs across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
* Identify, project, and assess historical and future financial impacts while mastering the complexity of a global organization and linking to group financials.
* Oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and outlook process for a specific area and ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
* Lead profitability analysis, derive actionable insights, and drive measures to improve costs across the organization.
* Drive and steer profitability initiatives such as cost reduction, cost control, and efficiency programs on senior and global levels.
* Act as a sparring partner for senior management and support communication of financial topics.
* Collaborate closely with leadership teams, acting as a link and trusted business partner.
* Lead and develop a team, challenge the status quo through process automation, and act as a global process owner.
Requirements
* Masters degree in economics with focus on finance, controlling, or accounting or a comparable qualification.
* At least 8 years of experience in finance and/or (strategy) consulting/accounting firm.
* Ideal experience in life sciences, pharma, or consumer goods and exposure to a high-paced environment.
* Experienced in interacting with top management in demanding settings and communicating effectively at senior level.
* Strong business partnering mentality with maturity to balance facilitation and challenging the business.
* Work with an open, transparent, and team-oriented mindset combined with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Result- and solution-oriented with solid IT/finance skills including MS Office and preferably PowerBI and Alteryx.
* Fluent in English and comfortable operating in an international and multicultural environment.
