Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree as a laboratory technician ideally with a specialisation in biological sciences or genetics;
* Authorization to practice as a healthcare professional;
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Assistant to participate in the establishment of new molecular genetic diagnostic procedures, active support of quality management and accreditation process, and device management.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Participation in sample reception, pre-analytical and documentation processes;
2. Encoding samples;
3. Participation in the routine analytical work of the service including performing DNA extraction, (Real-time)-PCR and Next-Generation Sequencing based assays;
4. Establishing new molecular genetic diagnostic procedures;
5. Supporting quality management and accreditation process;
6. Managing devices.
