About this position Join the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Business Development team at Henkel Adhesive Technologies which plays a key role in driving Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ inorganic growth strategy by leading M&A transactions, from deal origination through to integration. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing potential acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. What you'll do Identify potential acquisition opportunities that align with the Strategic Business Units (SBUs) strategic objectives and act as sparring partner for SBUs on all M&A matters Prepare deep dives, strategic analysis, investment thesis as well as necessary committee or board approval documents to senior management to decide on M&A opportunities Manage and coordinate due diligence activities which entails collaborating with relevant SBU, business and corporate functions Prepare business plans and detailed financial analysis Negotiate key terms of transactions together with Corporate M&A and Legal teams For divestments, preparation of transaction scope, structure, carve-out financials and other deal documents such as Information Memorandum What makes you a good fit University degree in business, STEM or related fields Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in M&A project leadership, management consulting or PMI specialisation with relevant deal experience Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions end-to-end with limited supervision (from initial / desktop analysis, through evaluation and internal presentation to external negotiation) Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills combined with excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels while working across multiple projects High motivation with the ability to work quickly, effectively and proactively in a fast-paced environment Fluent English language skills Some perks of joining Henkel Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid work model, and work from anywhere policy for up to 30 days per year Diverse national and international growth opportunities Global wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks Employee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares Company Pension Plan 100% financed by Henkel MEGA Preventive Health Insurance CareFlex Supplementary Care Insurance Mobility offer: My Henkel Bike and Jobticket At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
