We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our legal team based in Munich. This role will provide legal support to our businesses in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial judgment, a pragmatic mindset, and extensive legal expertise gained from both private practice and in-house roles.
What you'll do
* Provide clear, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders
* Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents
* Support development and implementation of internal legal policies, procedures, and systems
* Manage legal disputes and litigation
* Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management activities
* Manage and coordinate external counsel as required
* Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business
What you'll bring
* Qualified lawyer admitted in any European jurisdiction (preference for Germany, Switzerland, or the UK)
* Minimum of 7 years’ post-admission legal experience, including at least 3 years of in-house experience
* Strong background in commercial and corporate law; additional expertise in compliance, regulatory, employment, or IP is a plus
* Fluent English required; German proficiency is highly preferred
* Experience working in an international or cross-border environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
