For one of our top clients we are currently looking for a Network Security Engineer (m/w/x). Key Information: Start Date: as soon as possible Duration: 1 year Capacity: 100% Location: 70% travelling within the EU / 30% remote Language Requirement: English Responsibilities: Serve as the technical resource for Network Security/Fortinet solutions, providing expert advice and guidance site teams and customers Risk-assess industrial infrastructures and understand potential security breaches to be mitigated with the project tasks Design and architect solutions based on customer needs, ensuring they align with industry best practices and security standards Plan and execute successful configuration, pre-testing and deployment of Fortinet firewalls, switches and integration into Fortinet management systems Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for solutions on-site Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including solution architectures, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures Participate in the development and execution of proof-of-concept demonstrations and presentations to showcase Fortinet's capabilities to site teams Profile: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, etc.) will be a strong plus Extensive experience working with Fortinet's cybersecurity solutions, including FortiGate firewalls, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager Proven track record in designing, implementing, and supporting complex network security solutions using Fortinet technologies Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall technologies, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other security technologies. Familiarity with industry best practices and security frameworks, such as NIST, NIS2, IEC62443. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication (English) and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Willingness for 70% travelling within the EU Interested?
