Who are we
BioTreasure is an integrated biology and chemistry manufacturing platform designed to produce bio-based chemicals at industrial scale. Funded by SPRIND and developed in collaboration with Insempra, it combines circular continuous fermentation with proprietary downstream chemistry to enable flexible, local production, delivering performance, cost efficiency, and scalability from day one.

For this position you will perform the following duties:
* Design, develop, and optimize bioprocesses (e.g., fermentation, cell culture, purification)
* Scale processes from lab to pilot and production scale
* Lead and support technology transfer to external CMOs and develop plans for internal manufacturing site
* Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and manufacturing to ensure robust process implementation and process validation
* Implement and maintain process monitoring, control strategies, and documentation
* Troubleshoot process deviations and drive continuous improvement
Your profile:
* Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, or a related field
* Hands-on experience with bioprocesses, upstream/downstream operations, tech transfer or production in a biotech or pharma setting
* Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and quality regulations is a plus
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
* Proactive, flexible, and able to thrive in a startup environment
