Role Purpose
This role has full responsibility for safety, financial, leadership and operational performance of the Station. The post holder is expected to deliver excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders, customers, airport authorities and third-party suppliers. In addition, will lead and manage the performance and development of direct reports including supervisors, operators, allocators and administrators.
Working as part of the wider management team, the post holder will be expected to contribute to and deliver our customer HSE and commercial business plans.
What you will be doing
1. Responsibility for the management, safety and operational performance of the station, which includes the startup of ITP operations.
2. To develop, contribute to and agree service delivery standards internally and externally.
3. Monitor and report on performance against those standards and to ensure appropriate corrective action is taken to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
4. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of accidents and near-misses as per Customer and Company business requirements.
5. Ensure adherence to JIG Standards and address/report as appropriate.
6. Ensures compliance with Customer and Company business principles for the management of HSSE.
7. Ensure equipment maintenance is planned, and/or carried out as necessary, to keep equipment duly in service as per operational requirements
8. Supervise and manage staff for proper performance and conduct
9. Responsible for regular assessment with the Supervisor and Operators of operations and safety at the Station, manage to handle inspections of operations according to JIG, Company and HSSE requirements.
10. Applies Company HR policies, manages employee relations and responsible for the recruitment of new personnel.
11. Manages and assists with the preparation of budgets and the raising and issue of purchase orders to suppliers and contractors.
12. Define training needs of employees and contractors involved in the prevention, control, and mitigation of major accident hazards.
13. Ensure all personnel employees, contractors and external parties involved in the management of major accident hazards are well informed/trained.
14. Provides daily support for the needs of all administrative and operational duties required for the safe and efficient operation of site operations.

What we are looking for
15. Working knowledge of general business management.
16. Demonstrable experience of Health, Safety & Environmental Management.
17. Experience in an Aviation Operational Management position (desired)
18. Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships, with business partners and suppliers.
19. Proven extensive experience in team leadership and development.
20. Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
21. Ability to prioritise workload in order of urgency and importance.
22. Excellent Communication skills written and oral.
23. Proficient in all Microsoft applications
24. Demonstrable skills and experience of product handling and control
25. Demonstrable experience in Health, Safety, Security & Environmental Management
