Darwin Recruitment are hiring for a Ground Segment Systems Engineer on behalf of a business in Germany that are a software development and engineering consultancy firm based in Darmstadt, Germany since 2014, that specializes in the space industry, particularly in ground segment systems and operational tools. They focus on finding innovative solutions to the unique challenge the space industry presents.
Contribute to system engineering projects for another big satellite company, including:
* IV&V activities (Definition of AIV plans, test scenarios, validation, etc.)
* Graduate degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field-or equivalent experience
* Minimum 4 years in ground segment systems engineering-covering requirements, development, testing, operations, and maintenance
* DOORS), SysML, Enterprise Architect, ECSS standards, and programming (Java, C/C++, shell scripting on Linux)
* Fluent English skills;
