Your tasks
10. Safety Specialist Function & Consulting: Performing the tasks of an appointed occupational safety specialist (SiFa) as well as proactively advising the business units as a "Key Account Manager" for SHE topics.
11. Risk assessment & legal compliance: Support in creating risk assessments and safety concepts to ensure regulatory compliance.
12. Regulatory compliance: Advice on compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. BetrSichV, AwSV, BioStoffV) and collaborative support in the implementation of instructions.
13. Incident management & root cause analysis: Reporting on security-relevant incidents and conducting thorough root cause analyses to minimize risks.
14. Action tracking: Consistent monitoring and follow-up of deviations until successful implementation, including specific recommendations for action.
15. Culture & Optimization: Continuous optimization of SHE standards, promotion of a strong safety culture and cross-site exchange (especially with Mannheim).
Your profile
Must Have:
16. Qualification: Completed studies (Bachelor's / Master's) in engineering, safety engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
17. Additional qualification: Recognized and certified qualification as a specialist for occupational safety (SiFa) .
18. Professional experience: Solid, relevant professional experience (approx. 5-8 years), ideally in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry or a similarly highly regulated environment.
19. Expertise: In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations (especially BetrSichV, VDE) as well as basic SHE legal knowledge (BImSchG, AwSV, BioStoffV).
20. Language skills: Fluent English and excellent communication skills (in German and English) to explain complex issues clearly.
21. Flexibility: Willingness to make occasional business trips to the Mannheim location.
