These are your tasks:
* Set vision & governance for our global Head End System (HES)/ Meter Data Management (MDM) platform within Advanced Meter Intrastructure (AMI) 2.0 – defining architecture, standards, data models, APIs, cybersecurity and ensuring harmonized, scalable solutions across water, heat and cooling.
* Own the roadmap & requirements – translate market needs, customer feedback and regulatory trends into clear functional requirements and user stories, prioritizing together with Product Management while keeping product ownership in the SBU.
* Enable winning customer solutions – act as global HES/MDM authority for tenders and strategic deals, shaping end-to-end AMI architectures and ensuring consistent solution definitions instead of one-off customizations.
* Drive data quality & operational excellence – define and monitor core KPIs (data completeness, timeliness, VEE performance, platform SLAs) and work closely with IT/Cloud Ops and Professional Services to secure stable operation at multi-million-meter scale.
* Lead & develop a global expert team – build and coach a high-performing HES/MDM & data architecture team, foster an AMI 2.0 mindset, and ensure tight collaboration with Solution Design, Product Management, R&D and IT/Cloud Ops along the full software lifecycle.
Who we are looking for:
* You have a university degree in computer science, engineering, data engineering, or a related field and proven experience in AMI, HES, MDM, IoT data flows, software product ownership, or AMI operations.
* You have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, protocols (OMS, DLMS/COSEM, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT).
* You have expertise in leading software platform definition (business-side).
* You have excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills within global and cross-functional teams.
* You have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, and excellent spoken and written English skills (French or German is a plus).
