We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied Master’s thesis in the field of autonomous driving. Our team is driving forward research in this area by developing innovative AI models and fostering close collaboration among doctoral candidates and students. At the Autonomous Driving Campus in Unterschleißheim, you will be part of a dynamic research community and contribute to cutting-edge advancements in autonomous mobility.
What awaits you?
1. You will support research on state-of-the-art autonomous driving models and help to test and improve beyond them.
2. Furthermore, you will gain practical AI experience by contributing to the implementation of novel architectures or training paradigms in our research team.
3. In addition, you will utilize our advanced training infrastructure to conduct experiments and efficiently evaluate your approaches.
4. Moreover, you will assist in presenting thesis results using the scientific method, both in written and oral formats.
5. You will collaborate with an experienced team that has published at international peer-reviewed conferences.
6. Furthermore, you will engage with an international and diverse team of doctoral candidates and students at the Autonomous Driving Campus in Unterschleißheim.
Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.
What should you bring along?
7. Studies in computer science or related fields with focus on machine learning or artificial intelligence.
8. Strong knowledge in reasoning models, vision language models, and state-of-the-art architectures.
9. Excellent programming skills in Python and PyTorch; familiarity with Docker and Git is a plus.
10. Curiosity and motivation to solve problems and share ideas in a team.
11. Fluent English skills.
