Job Summary:
We are seeking a Medical Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading local medical excellence and operations activities, ensuring compliance with company processes, ethics, regulatory requirements, and local laws.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the development and implementation of global strategies in close cross-functional collaboration
* Develop and implement processes, tools, and materials to drive medical excellence
* Lead digital transformation projects, including AbbVie's internet presence and multi- and omnichannel communication
* Monitor current market trends and provide actionable recommendations
* Oversee internal medical communication initiatives in collaboration with Corporate Communication, BTS, CEX, and Marketing teams
* Partner with subject matter experts across all therapeutic areas to support scientific communication priorities
* Advise Affiliate Medical Affairs on medical communication topics
Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen sense of emerging communication trends
* Strong planning, organizational, and strategic abilities with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
* Quick comprehension of complex topics with skill in communicating clearly to different audiences
* High degree of initiative, independent working style, and ability to build strong internal and external networks
* Flexibility and adaptability; thrives in a dynamic corporate environment
* Ability to influence without direct authority and effectively deliver cross-functional projects
* Strong commitment to compliance, scientific quality, and integrity
* Scientific degree (MS, PhD, MD, PharmD) preferred
* Excellent German (written/spoken), fluent in English
* Good experience in project management and pharmaceutical industry (Medical Affairs roles)
