As an Accounting & Payroll Specialist (F/M/D), you will take ownership of operational finance processes, including accounting, payroll preparation, and system-driven workflows. You will work closely with the CFO and the People & Culture Lead, ensuring accurate data, smooth processes, and timely reporting. Objectives of this Role Ensure accurate and timely execution of preparatory accounting and payroll processes. Collaborate with the CFO and P&C Lead on monthly payroll and finance operations. Support and continuously improve operational finance workflows and reporting structures including ongoing development of cost center and management reporting. Key Responsibilities Execute preparatory accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable Manage invoice processing and data preparation for our external tax advisor (DATEV). Conduct monthly preparatory payroll activities in Personio in close alignment with the People & Culture Lead. Coordinate and validate all payroll-relevant data such as working hours, contractual and personnel changes. Support management reporting & continuous finance processes improvement. Your profile Required: Independent and hands-on working style. Strong communication skills Qualification in accounting, payroll, or finance or equivalent experience in one or more of the following areas: Accounting processes (AP/AR, bank, reconciliations) Payroll processing, ideally using Personio Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions and data transformation. High degree of system affinity and readiness to work with digital tools. Preferred: Experience with tools such as DATEV, Agicap, Circula, TravelPerk, Helu, or similar systems.
