Strategic Planning Officer Opportunity
We are seeking a Strategic Planning Officer to join our team. This role will involve supporting the development of strategic plans, monitoring operational performance, and preparing reports for senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
* CORPORATE OPERATIONAL PLANNING (COP): Collaborate with the Head of the Business Planning Unit to drive the preparation of the Corporate Operational Plan, ensuring alignment with Group priorities and sustainability objectives.
* PERFORMANCE MONITORING AND STEERING: Continuously monitor operational performance against the annual plan, identifying deviations and contributing to steering proposals to meet corporate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* STRATEGIC ANALYSIS AND REPORTING: Serve as a key analytical resource, preparing detailed data analyses, reports, and presentations for senior management, counterparts, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
* CAPITAL PLANNING PROCESS: Translate business planning into a capital plan by leading an efficient and thorough corporate planning process.
* Maintaining Dashboards: Update and maintain information in business planning tools using software products such as Tableau and Excel.
Requirements:
* A university qualification, preferably at postgraduate level, in Business Management, Economics, Social Sciences, Finance, Maths, or Data Science applied to economics.
* At least five years of relevant professional experience in Strategy/Advisory/Consultancy services firms, the financial services industry, and EU Institutions or other MDBs.
* Solid skills in quantitative/qualitative modelling and business assessment methodologies are required.
* Strong experience utilising software tools to effectively present graphs, reports, and dashboards.
* Analytical and numerical skills to aid in ensuring initiatives are properly documented.
* A good understanding of operational processes and procedures of a financial or asset management institution.
* Ability to comprehend business issues and develop coherent & comprehensive business solutions.
* Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. Knowledge of other EU languages would be considered an asset.
