</div><div><p>As Data Governance Lead (m/f/d), be a core member of the central Data &amp; AI function, responsible for operationalizing MediaMarktSaturn's federated data governance framework across ~11 markets. Work closely with Global Data Domain Owners, regional teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data is trusted, compliant, and fit for purpose — at enterprise scale.</p>

<ul>
<li>Ownership and continuous evolution of the enterprise data governance framework, including policies, standards, data classification, and metadata management</li>
<li>Coordination of the Data Domain Council and support of domain working groups across all global data domains</li>
<li>Leadership of data quality governance through the definition of KPIs, escalation paths, and remediation workflows in collaboration with domain leads</li>
<li>Maintenance and continuous enhancement of the enterprise data catalog and business glossary on GCP/BigQuery, leveraging tools such as Dataplex, DataHub, and Collibra</li>
<li>Support of GDPR compliance activities, including data classification, PII discovery, and maintenance of Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)</li>
<li>Close collaboration with Legal, Tax, IT Security, and Data Privacy teams to ensure alignment of governance frameworks with regulatory and risk requirements</li>
<li>Monitoring and reporting of governance maturity across domains, with a focus on continuous improvement and progress reporting to the Data Board</li>
<li>Functioning as the operational interface between the central Data &amp; AI team and business-side domain leads, ensuring translation of governance requirements into actionable processes</li>

<li>Several years in data governance, data management, or a related discipline in a complex, multi-market organization</li>
<li>Strong command of data governance frameworks and best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK); ability to adapt them pragmatically to organizational context</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with data catalog and metadata tools — Dataplex, DataHub, Collibra, or similar</li>
<li>Familiarity with GDPR and data privacy requirements, ideally in a retail or consumer context</li>
<li>Proven ability to work in a federated model — influencing without direct authority across business and technology stakeholders</li>
<li>Cloud data platform experience, ideally GCP/BigQuery</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills in English; German is a strong plus</li>
