About us
The IT department, with its 100 colleagues, supports the approximately 4,000 employees of the Hamburg tax administration with its 14 tax offices and the North German Academy of Finance in all digital matters.
In cooperation with colleagues from the IT department and other authorities of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (FHH) as well as with the IT service provider Dataport, your new area of responsibility will include a wide range of management, coordination, and technical tasks. You will take on a responsible and varied role in the department with the aim of establishing and further developing IT emergency management.
Your new workplace is located in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg Central Station at Steinstraße 10,Hamburg.
Your tasks
* You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and further development of an IT emergency management system in accordance with BSI standards, which is to be developed into a comprehensive business continuity management (BCM) system in the future
* Together with your team, you will provide support for tasks related to emergency management and take on activities in the area of information security
* You will develop processes, guidelines, instructions, and regulations for emergency management (in particular the IT emergency manual), coordinate these with the key stakeholders, and support their implementation
* In addition, you will advise all senior stakeholders and employees on all issues relating to IT emergency management and BCM
* You will analyze security incidents and vulnerabilities, coordinate their handling, and monitor the implementation of the measures decided upon
Your profile
Required
* University degree (bachelor's or equivalent) in computer science or a comparable field of study, or equivalent skills and experience, with at least 3 years of practical experience in tasks related to the advertised position at bachelor's level (in the public sector from EGr. 10, case group 1)
* alternatively: completed training as an IT specialist, systems engineer, IT systems administrator, IT systems electronics technician or equivalent skills and experience, each with 5 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of responsibility of the advertised position, including at least 3 years of practical experience in tasks at bachelor's level (in the public sector from EGr. 10, case group 1)
* Unobjectionable result of a security check in accordance with the Security Check Act (SÜG)
* Proficiency in written and spoken German (level C1 of the CEFR)
Advantageous
* Very good knowledge of current standards in information security and IT emergency management (ISO/IEC 2700x series, BSI IT baseline protection)
* Certification in the field of IT security or emergency management (e.g., BSI IT baseline protection, ISOBCM)
* Experience in setting up emergency management
* Independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work, as well as a high degree of reliability and responsibility, even in crisis situations
* Analytical and creative thinking combined with strong communication and assertiveness skills
