Pentixapharm AG is a research-focused radiopharmaceutical and precision oncology company developing the innovative theranostic drug peptide pair PentixaFor / PentixaTher and an antibody-based pipeline. Our clinical-stage drugs specifically target the CXCR4 receptor, which plays a critical role in hematologic and solid cancers as well as cardiovascular diseases.
Job Overview
As Medical Director (Global Clinical Development), you will lead the global strategy and execution of clinical trials in hematological and solid tumor indications, with a strong focus on radiopharmaceutical therapies. You will act as medical lead, ensuring robust study design, execution, and regulatory success.
Your Tasks
* Lead global clinical development programs for novel radiopharmaceutical therapies.
* Serve as medical lead for oncology trials: study design, protocol writing, and patient data review.
* Oversee clinical trials from Phase I to Phase III, ensuring compliance and delivery of key milestones.
* Guide interpretation of trial data and contribute to regulatory submissions.
* Prepare and participate in regulatory interactions (FDA, EMA) for approvals and advice.
* Mentor and support the clinical operations & development team.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative therapies to patients.
* Stay at the forefront of oncology and theranostics to shape future strategy.
Experience & Skills
* MD or equivalent medical degree; board certification in oncology strongly preferred.
* 8+ years of experience in clinical development, including oncology (solid & hematologic).
* Proven success in global clinical programs and regulatory approvals.
* Strong knowledge of Phase I–III clinical trial design and regulatory requirements.
* Understanding of radiopharmaceuticals / theranostics is a strong plus.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Fluency in English; German is an advantage.
