Luxcargo Handling, based at Luxembourg Airport, is a handling company specializing in air freight. Founded in 2023, the company took over the Cargo Handling branch of Luxair and employs 1000 people in various roles.

For our LCH IT department within LCH, we are looking for an:
IT Application Support Specialist (m/f/x)
Missions:
* Manage the lifecycle of applications within a defined portfolio, including roadmap, licensing, integration into existing landscape, support and upgrade
* Diagnose and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
* Document application processes and support procedures.
* Assist in the deployment of new applications and updates.
* Debug and troubleshoot application problems effectively.
* Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
* Actively participate, in strong collaboration with the different IT teams and vendors, to define the necessary environments to be able to test and implement new releases.
* Participate in continuous improvement and write appropriate guidelines where required
* Provide 24/7 support for critical application issues, together with support team
Profile:
* Be holder of a bachelor’s degree “BAC+3” in Information Technology or equivalent
* combination of education and experience in a similar position
* Proven experience in application support or a similar role.
* Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and troubleshooting.
* Show a good sense of priorities
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Show structured approach in analysis and documentation
* Be accurate, detail oriented and reliable
* Be familiar with standard office applications
* Show excellent communication skills in French and English (spoken and written)
* Have good presentation and analytical skills
