Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. The Accounting Manager for the Flavors EMEA region is responsible for leading financial accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and ADM internal controls.
2. The role focuses on accurate regional financial reporting, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
3. Acting as a key business partner, this position collaborates with commercial, finance, and global business service teams to support decision-making, drive alignment, and implement best practices.
4. The manager also plays a critical role in audits, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration, and financial consolidation across the region, while supervising a small local accounting team and participating in Center of Excellence (COE) initiatives to enhance efficiency and standardization across the region.
Requirements:
5. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).
6. 7+ years in FP&A or Business Controller roles within an international organization.
7. Proven ability to manage month-end close, financial analysis, and reporting accuracy.
8. Proven experience as a Manager/Team Leader.
9. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and regions.
11. Fluent in English and German.
