Full time 38,5 hrs/week, permanent employment
Your tasks:
* Preparation and review of tax declarations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
* Diligent and careful maintenance of tax records and documentation
* Close collaboration with internal departments to gather necessary information for tax returns
* Monitoring changes in tax laws and regulations and assessing their impact on the company
* Assisting with audits and inquiries from tax authorities
* Advising and supporting team members on tax matters
* Providing tax advice to business departments
* Proactively developing and presenting measures to avoid/reduce potential tax risks for the company
* Advising business departments on improving company performance
Your qualifications:
* Successfully completed qualification as a certified accountant, tax specialist, or similar qualification
* Professional experience in the tax field, ideally in an international environment
* Extensive knowledge of accounting
* Solid knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Germany and the EU
* Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
* Very good SAP and MS Office user skills
* Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competence
* Ability to identify areas for improvement
* High attention to detail and organizational skills
* A high degree of independence, initiative, and commitment
* Quick comprehension as well as a proactive, structured, and goal-oriented working style
* Very good communication skills
