Overview
As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong client relationships. You will manage high-performing sales teams and ensure the achievement of ambitious sales targets. This is a strategic and hands-on role, requiring leadership, sales expertise, and business acumen to deliver results in a highly competitive market. Position based in our Frankfurt office – 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Identify new market opportunities and drive business expansion.
* Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
* Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance.
* Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on results, collaboration, and innovation.
* Recruit, onboard, and train top-tier sales talent.
* Drive new business acquisition while managing and expanding existing key accounts.
* Develop strong relationships with C-level executives and decision-makers.
* Lead complex sales negotiations and close high-value deals.
* Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales strategies.
* Provide insights and feedback on market trends, competition, and customer needs.
* Present sales performance reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
* Fluent German and English
* Experience: 10+ years in senior sales leadership roles, preferably in Consumer electronics, consumer goods or FMCG
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in exceeding multi-million-pound revenue targets
* Strategic Leadership: Ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies
* Negotiation & Closing: Strong expertise in managing complex, high-value deals
* Team Leadership: Experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams
* Market & Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscape
* CRM & Sales Tech: Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM tools
* Excellent Communication: Strong presentation, influencing, and relationship-building skills
