Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead FutureLog’s technology vision, execution, and innovation agenda. The CTO will play a key role in scaling our SaaS platform, driving product excellence, and embedding advanced automation and AI capabilities across our solutions.
This role requires a balance of strategic leadership and operational execution, with a strong understanding of SaaS architectures, enterprise software, and industry-specific requirements in hospitality and related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy and Leadership
* Define and execute the overall technology strategy aligned with FutureLog’s business goals
* Drive the evolution of our SaaS platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
* Act as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall company strategy
* Build and lead both a high‑performing engineering, architecture, and DevOps organization and a strong product organization including R&D.
Product and Platform Development
* Oversee the end‑to‑end software design and development lifecycle, from architecture to deployment to maintenance.
* Ensure continuous improvement of product quality, reliability, and user experience
* Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to align technology with market needs
* Drive API‑first and modular architecture to support integrations and ecosystem growth
AI, Automation and Innovation
* Lead the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into the platform (e.g. demand forecasting, smart procurement, automation workflows)
* Identify opportunities to automate manual processes across customer operations and software development
* Establish a clear innovation roadmap, including emerging technologies and data‑driven products
* Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement
Industry and Domain Focus
* Ensure strong alignment of the platform with hospitality industry needs (hotels, restaurants, chains)
* Support expansion into adjacent sectors such as healthcare (hospitals) and food & beverage
* Leverage domain knowledge to create competitive differentiation and value for customers
Infrastructure, Security and Compliance
* Ensure robust, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure (e.g. data protection, GDPR, enterprise standards)
* Implement best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and system monitoring
* Oversee cybersecurity strategy and risk management
Team and Culture
* Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in engineering, technology and product management.
* Foster a collaborative, agile, and high‑performance engineering culture
* Act as a mentor and leader across technical and cross‑functional teams
Key Qualifications
* Proven experience as CTO, CPO, VP Engineering, or similar senior technology leadership role in a SaaS environment
* Strong background in building and scaling cloud‑based software platforms including user onboarding engines.
* Experience in or strong understanding of the hospitality industry; exposure to healthcare or F&B is a plus
* Demonstrated experience with AI, data platforms, and automation technologies
* Solid understanding of modern software architecture (microservices, APIs, cloud‑native)
* Track record of leading and scaling engineering and product teams in an international environment
* Strong business acumen and ability to align technology with commercial objectives and time‑to‑market.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
* Experience with procurement, supply chain, or ERP‑related solutions
* Prior work with private equity‑backed or growth‑stage companies
* Exposure to international market expansion and multi‑tenant SaaS platforms
