The Marketing Associate position at Travelzoo is an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in various marketing functions while contributing to impactful campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement. The Marketing Associate is a position in Travelzoo’s German Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as, event, social media, or content marketing.
• Coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral.
• Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
• Assist with developing and managing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts.
• Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
• Motivated to plan, create, and schedule content for all major social media platforms to drive traffic and engagement
• Driven to work to develop creative assets and ensure they conform to brand guidelines
• Capable of troubleshooting and making editorial suggestions about how and what to post on social media during periods of quick-changing information
• Keen to respond and interact with our member community to build brand loyalty
• Determined to keep up to date with social media developments and drive channel innovation
• Confident to help the team with campaign set-ups across all key marketing and PR channels
• Dedicated to managing day-to-day campaign reporting and analysis to help improve performance

Required education and qualifications:
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2-3 Years’ working experience in a Marketing environment

• Familiarity with marketing tools
• Native German and business proficiency in English.
• Keen interest in travel.
