Meaningful Work From Day One Aligned with Brown-Forman's long-term brand building and profit growth strategies, this position seeks to optimize the route to new and existing consumers of the BF portfolio in the German Off-Trade holistically. It will indirectly connect with consumers by optimizing the customer approach in the Off-Trade business. This positionu2019s scope is to positively influence consumer purchase behavior by driving physical and mental availability of the Brown-Forman portfolio in Germany with focus on the Emerging Brands (with a special focus on the acquisitions Gin Mare and Botucal Rum) through the Off-Trade channel and mainly within the customer groups MARKANT and Discount. What You Can Expect The role encompasses the responsibility for the full local translation of Brand Strategies into compelling channel strategies and customer activations for the Off-Trade channel with the support of the Senior Trade Marketing Manager Off-Trade. The responsibilities of this role incorporate: Responsible for the annual set-up of optimal consumer & customer targets for the Off-Trade in collaboration with Brand Management, Sales Off-Trade team (Key Account and Field Force Management) and other Marketing functions Responsible for the development, planning, execution and evaluation of national Off-Trade activations/ promotions for the Emerging Brands (focus on Gin Mare and Botucal Rum) and tailormade activations/ promotions for the Brown-Forman portfolio within the supported customer groups Leads & briefs external agencies on promotions and projects Coordinates with Off-Trade Key Account Team, Regional Field Force Managers & Brand Management Aligns with Finance on correct accounting of activities Regularly provides reports on promotion efficiency and progress to plan status Responsible for the annual set-up of related A&P and COGS budgets for the supervised brands and independently tracks the budget for the managed promotions Develops, realizes and provides sell-in stories, salesfolder and leaflets for standard and promotional SKUs in close collaboration with Brand Marketing, MCCI and Sales Responsible for the sourcing, development, administration of POS material for the Off-Trade as well as for optimal warehousing of those materials and further inclusion in internal and external processes together with Purchasing and Supply Chain Department Supports the Off-Trade related maintenance of Sales Reps supporting tool POS-Shop incl. inventory management of supervised POS material and coordination between internal and external partners Responsible for the efficient use of available resources (budget, time, collaborating departments) and consideration of relevant guidelines and policies (legal, finance, compliance, accounting, purchasing). Collaborates with the Market Category Consumer Insights (MCCI) Team Germany, Sales Off-Trade team (KAM, Reg. Field Force Managers & Sales Reps) to gain more Off-Trade facts and consequently insights (e.g. via in-market tests, studies etc.) Supports the Head of Trade Marketing and Senior Trade Marketing Manager Off-Trade in leading projects/ workshops coming out of the yearly strategy and business planning process (incl. annual negotiation materials) Works closely with Key Account group (National Group KAM and KAMs) and (Junior) Trade Marketing Manager Off-Trade to align on and prioritize projects/ topics to ensure coordinated execution as well as communication to internal and external stakeholders Participation in regional Field Force & selected brand and sales meetings What You Bring to the Table Bacheloru2019s Degree (Marketing or Sales) or trained e.g. Off-Trade category / store manager At least 2-3 year work experience with Off-Trade channel, Trade Marketing or Marketing Good German market knowledge (retail, consumer, trade) - especially of the Off-Trade channel Good knowledge level of marketing disciplines: Market analysis, strategy development, consumer/ shopper insights, creative development, strong project management capabilities Innovation development experience (activations, promotions, tools/ POSM) Fluent German speaking and writing Good English speaking and writing MS Office/ Google applications Time management Strategic understanding Analytical and planning skills Project Management What Makes You Unique Sales experience FMCG experience Who We Are We believe great people build great brands.
