Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of wiring harnesses for assigned vehicle zones or systems
* Manage the end-to-end development process from concept to production release
* Ensure alignment with system requirements, packaging constraints, and cross-domain interfaces
* Conduct and participate in design reviews and milestone checkpoints
* Support prototype builds and resolve harness-related issues during development phases
* Ensure compliance with OEM standards and regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality designs
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
* Ideally you already bring strong knowledge of PREEvision's rule model, meta model, and configuration capabilities. If not, you bring at least experience with similar model-based tools
* Interest to grow in the fields of Generative AI, Systems Engineering, and WebApp development
* Proficiency in Java and other relevant programming languages
* Familiarity with modern WebApp development technologies, like React, NetxJS, nodejs, Javascript, CSS, Tailwind, REST API, etc.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Tool Knowledge:
* Ideally proficient in PREEvision for logical architecture, topology, schematics, and BOM management (PV: "Hardware Layer")
* Experience with PLM system Windchill.
* Familiarity with issue tracking and documentation tools used in automotive development environment
Soft Skills:
* Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across engineering domains.
* Ability to coordinate with system DREs, packaging, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
* Proactive problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
* Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic development environment.
* Team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
