Your responsibilities:
1. Drafting, reviewing, and revising EPCI contracts and commercial documents in the field of national and international plant construction, with a focus on "installation of cable systems"
2. Participating in negotiations with customers and subcontractors in Germany and abroad
3. Legal advice for the sales team on national and international tenders
4. Supporting project teams with legal issues and disputes
5. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and conducting training sessions at our German and European locations
You will report to the Head of PLC Germany/Benelux and work at the Cologne site, with the option for remote work. Travel (national and international) is up to 25%, depending on the projects.

Your Profile:
6. Qualification as a fully qualified lawyer with the second state examination
7. At least 5 years of experience as in-house counsel in the EPCI sector or as a lawyer in infrastructure projects
8. Solid knowledge of German commercial law, with a focus on plant construction and construction law. Excellent knowledge of FIDIC contract templates is essential; familiarity with other relevant templates such as NEC 3 and 4 is desirable
9. Initiative and a solution-oriented approach to challenges and problems
10. High degree of flexibility, problem-solving skills, and confident communication
11. A team player who enjoys taking on challenges and excels in interdisciplinary work on large-scale projects
12. Fluent English and German language skills
