What you will enjoy doing
1. In this role, you will support the development and programming of automated workflows, including their design, implementation, and testing, using tools such as Excel, VBA, and Python
2. The preparation of 3D geometries and the meshing of FEA models, covering activities such as model setup, geometry cleanup, mesh generation, and quality validation (for example with Inventor and ANSYS), will be supported by you
3. You will actively contribute to the evaluation and integration of AI tools into existing engineering and automation processes
4. Close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and actively support continuous process improvement will be part of your responsibilities
5. To ensure reliable workflow execution and robust AI‑tool performance, you will perform system tests, data validation, and troubleshooting; additionally, you will contribute to the preparation of training materials and user guidelines for newly introduced tools and processes
What makes you great
6. You have very strong Excel skills and enjoy working with data, analyses, and automations
7. Very good programming knowledge, ideally in Visual Basic and Python or a comparable programming language, is something you bring to the role
8. A solid understanding of CAD systems enables you to confidently apply your skills in an engineering environment, and you are motivated to further develop them
9. Solid knowledge of engineering mechanics is part of your profile, and you are eager to deepen both your theoretical and practical understanding
10. Initial experience with or a strong interest in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), ideally using tools such as ANSYS or HyperMesh, complements your skill set
11. You are fluent in English, which is mandatory for this role, and you have good German language skills or are willing to further develop them
