My client is looking for an experienced Project Engineer with proven offshore experience, preferably in the field of wind farm cable installations and or cable landing projects.
You will be responsible for the technical preparation, planning and supervision of the work related to cable installation. You will work independently on drawing up implementation plans, work protocols and risk assessments, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. You are the technical link between design, implementation and project management.
START: October (Immediate)
LOCATION: Leer Site Based (North East NL / North West DE)
CONTRACT: 12 months.
Specification:
* HBO/WO degree in civil engineering, maritime engineering or relevant.
* 3-5 years of experience as a project engineer in offshore
* Experience with cable landing and/or work in tidal areas.
* Experience in drawing up implementation documentation and risk management.
* Good command of the English and German.
October 2025 to July 2026 – Engineering Phase (40 hours- Office Based)
The company is acting as a project offshore partner for an end client, the role would be to support the epc company in drawing up implementation, documentation and risk management.
July 26 – September/October 26 – Execution Phase (Rotation- Offshore)
Project support in the field, pre-mobilisation, mobilisation offshore.
The client is looking to interview and offer candidates over the next two weeks, they can join the projects team in October.
You will be responsible for drawing up and coordinating implementation plans, method statements and work protocols. Preparing offshore work, including equipment selection and logistical planning. Providing technical support during implementation, including supervising subcontractors. Identifying and mitigating risks related to work in ecologically sensitive areas. Liaising with licensing authorities, ecologists and maritime service providers.
