Job Description We are currently looking to hire a Technical Specialist based in Düsseldorf, Germany. Infrastructure Operations is a department within IT, having the overall responsibility for day-to-day operations of IT services in Statkraft, either through service providers or own resources. The team is also responsible for local support globally. We are now looking to strengthen our Local Technical Support team and seek a Technical Specialist to handle level2 local IT needs for the Dusseldorf office in Germany. You will work in a dynamic operational environment as part of our Operation Centre and Local Technical Support team, collaborating with a large IT environment (500 employees) in continuous development. You will report to Manager Infrastructure Support. In your role you will: Handle issues requiring local physical presence and be available for the users requiring IT support and assistance. Handle and coordinate Events, Incidents, Service requests and Changes related to the local IT environment. Provide desktop swap‐out, Level 2 hardware and system software support to include but not limited to engineering workstations, laptops, desktops, smart phones/tablets and other devices as mutually agreed and defined. Provide technical support for special events such as annual meetings, board meetings, training sessions, for both internal/ external end users, etc. Work as a Hand & Eye support for remote L2/L3 teams.
