People Partner
As People Partner, you will play a key role within our People Team supporting our internal business and employees working across many areas of HR including onboarding, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and Employee Relations to name just a few.
Your role:
1. Define and implement the most effective support model for line managers and employees
2. Establish and maintain trustworthy relationships with various different stakeholders within and outside of primary geography
3. Onboarding and Offboarding Process
4. Close collaboration with German works council in all local HR topics
5. Provide guidance an compensation and benefits, supported by total rewards team
6. Learning & Development (providing trainings, set up training plans and help with facilitating trainings)
7. Support performance management cases (PIP), Talent Reviews
8. Support Ethics & Compliance investigations and Labour Relation in cooperation with HRD Germany
9. Represent Aptiv in front of labour court with support of legal team
10. Support of site management (ASA, organization of events, review Your Say at site level or similar)
11. Contact person for internal and external partners (e.g.. Trade Supervisory Office)
12. Facilitate audits by providing information about HR processes and implementing necessary corrections from findings
Your Background:
13. Experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations positions or similar – at least 2 years
14. University Degree in Human Resources, Social Psychology or related field
15. Practical knowledge of German Labour Law
16. Practical experience in all phases in HR lifecycle
17. Practical knowledge of general labour law related matters in different geographies and continents as well as cultural differences
18. Ability to build relationships and collaborate with various different stakeholders within and outside of primary geography
19. Patient listener showing empathy to all colleagues who bring feedback and a need to be listened
20. Creative approach to problem solving
21. Exceptional Communication skills and ability to facilitate conflict
22. Strong people and business focus, understanding company’s business model and direction
23. Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
24. Fluency in English – C1 level in speech and writing
25. Ability to deal with ambiguity in a dynamically changing environment
