Job Description
This role reports into the Product Integrity function in Compression and is responsible for resolving urgent technical issues across the business, including at customer sites. It requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical customer top management.
You will have the opportunity to influence decarbonization initiatives for industrial customers and contribute to Siemens Energy's sustainable future.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Lead the resolution of customer Technical Issues (TI), including Root Cause Analysis and resolving technical non-conformance issues (e.g., compressor performance).
* Manage and coordinate a team of internal and external experts for swift issue resolution and knowledge transfer across regions.
* Maintain customer relationships from a technical resolution perspective in a dynamic environment.
* Drive the Product Improvement Process (PIP) to address Operational Issues (OI), Technical Issues (TI), and Significant Field Issues (SFI).
What You Bring
* Proven leadership in developing solutions for technical customer issues across organizations.
* Excellent communication skills to interact directly with customers in high-pressure situations.
* Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
* 15+ years of experience in rotating equipment design, controls, compressor testing, site commissioning, troubleshooting, and service activities.
* Experience leading RCAs and using methodologies like Kepner Tregoe or equivalent.
* Fluency in German and English (minimum B2 level), with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
