Amentum is seeking a Mission System Operator/Electronic Systems Operator for a position at the Polygone range (in the vicinity of Ramstein AFB) in Germany. The Mission System Operator/Electronic Systems Operator conducts realistic TTAO training via a combination of fixed, mobile, and MANPORTABLE mission systems throughout the European Area of Operation.
Responsibilities
1. Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is the highest priority.
2. Operate GBAD system simulators and associated equipment.
3. Understand the Aircrew survivability tactics and be able to employ near-peer GBAD and IADS tactics in accordance with LMOC Operator and customer requirements
4. Operate legacy threat emitters in accordance with LMOC Operator and customer requirements up to Secret training parameters.
5. Conduct operator-level maintenance on all electronic equipment, to include Joint Threat Emitters (JTE), radar systems, and other electronic warfare equipment.Repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery.
6. Set up, tear down, and ship equipment under the EWOTIM PWS using manuals and required test equipment.
7. Transport and secure munitions.
8. Travel to temporary duty stations on short notice and for extended periods of time in support of missions, training, and conferences.
9. Report any deficiencies or outages of all equipment to Maintenance Control and Maintenance personnel.
10. Accomplish corrosion control and repair on all equipment.
11. Complete IMDS inputs for actions taken on repairs.
12. Transport to or receive parts, equipment, and vehicles to and from LRS and VRS
13. Assist with all GFP inventories and accountability, filling tags and paperwork under guidance of Supply Technicians and management for turning in serviceable or unserviceable parts and equipment.
14. Submit corrections for equipment and manual improvements and develop, improve or correct checklists and procedures.
15. Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
16. Adhere to company and US government processes, regulations, and statutes.
17. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining high performance standards.
Additional Responsibilities
18. Report and deficiencies or outages of any facilities to the Facility Manager
19. Move office supplies or furniture
20. Work in all weather conditions, remove snow and ice from facilities
21. Clean all areas, vehicles, and equipment by means of sweeping, vacuuming, moping, wiping, dusting and power washing.
22. Position may involve extending reaching, stooping, kneeling, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs., ability to use MS Office/Computer
23. Extra duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
24. HighSchool diploma plus 2-3 years of relevant experience
