SUMMARY
The individual in this role will be accountable for Greenbrier Europe’s sales (leasing) performance and activities within Germany. As the Sales (Leasing) Director for Germany, they will lead and manage the company's sales operations in the German market, including the development and execution of sales (leasing) strategies, target setting, and fostering strong customer relationships to support business growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Development of sales (leasing) opportunities for Greenbrier Europe Business and active acquirement of new projects and customers in dedicated sales (leasing) area and dedicated customers.
2. Building relations with the Greenbrier Europe clients.
3. Keeping and establishing stable business relationships in dedicated areas and with dedicated customers.
4. Negotiating projects and designing draft contracts with customers in cooperation with other Greenbrier Europe departments.
5. Analyzing tender conditions and preparations of offers and documents to be associated thereto.
6. Taking active part in events and fairs in Europe.
7. Stay informed about industry market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
8. Present regular sales (leasing) reports and follow up on key sales (leasing) indicators.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years' experience working in the rail industry
• Very good knowledge of English
• Practical computer skills (MS Office package)
• Negotiating skills
• Communication and problem-solving skills
• Good organization of work (scrupulousness, accuracy, reliability, regularity and diligence)
• Good teamwork, including in multi-industry and multi-cultural teams
• High education in technical and/or economy, business management
