To support our exponential growth, we are looking for a Release manager (m/f/d) to join our team! The role is located in Hamburg.
Tasks
What you’ll do
* Task Prioritization and Alignment:
o Collaborate closely with the product team to understand task priorities and align release activities accordingly.
* Resource Planning and Estimation:
o Conduct resource planning for each team, ensuring optimal allocation.
o Provide accurate estimations for project timelines and resource requirements.
* Progress Monitoring and Risk Management:
o Implement robust systems for tracking task progress and identifying potential risks.
o Proactively address and mitigate risks to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
* Release Reporting:
o Generate comprehensive release reports, documenting key metrics, outcomes, and areas for improvement.
* Workflow Management:
o Take ownership of task boards and work closely with teams to streamline workflows.
o Ensure boards accurately reflect task status and facilitate regular updates.
* Methodology Expertise:
o Apply your Scrum and Kanban methodologies knowledge to tailor processes to project requirements, promoting efficiency and agility.
* Jira Proficiency:
o Utilize your expertise in Jira to manage tasks, track progress, and facilitate effective communication within and between teams.
Requirements
Our ideal new colleague
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
* Proven experience in release management or a related role.
* Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
* Proficiency in Jira and other project management tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
